To me, industrial design is one of the most innately human things we can do. The process of creating objects that make people feel and allow us to express ourselves is undeniably beautiful.
I’ve always loved this art of creation—whether it was throwing paint on thrifted canvases at my grandma’s house or expressing myself through gymnastics. Creating things that are both uniquely me and emotionally resonant has been a constant through every part of my life.
Now, at San Jose State University, the art of industrial design has taken all of those feelings and beliefs and given them a home. Every part of the process brings me joy and fuels my inspiration. Through all the late nights and early mornings, nothing has driven me like this pursuit of emotionally resonant creation.
